VMware Workstation enables technical professionals to develop, test, demonstrate, and deploy software by running multiple Windows, Linux, and other x86-based operating systems simultaneously on the same computer.

You can replicate server, desktop, and tablet environments in virtual machines and allocate multiple processor cores, gigabytes of main memory, and graphics memory to each virtual machine, regardless of whether the virtual machine is on a personal computer or in a private corporate cloud.

The following issues are resolved in VMware Workstation

Linux guest operating systems booted with EFI firmware sometimes become unresponsive to the keyboard and mouse if any mouse movement occurs for a short period during operating system boot. This issue has been resolved.

Outlook 2010 sometimes crashes when running in Unity mode. This issue has been resolved.

You cannot compact or defrag persistent disks. This issue has been resolved.

Sometimes the user interface crashes when users copy and paste files between two Windows guests. This issue has been resolved.

Fixed rendering corruption of UI elements on Fedora 20 guests with 3D enabled.

When creating a new virtual machine with SUSE Linux Enterprise (SLE) 12, the easy installation path is not available. This issue has been resolved.
